Draught @ the brewery (October 2024). Clear golden amber with a foamy off-white head, faint citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter lightly piney taste with caramel malt and citrus zest, smooth body, long finish. Very good West Coast Style IPA.

16 oz can. Chewy, big American IPA. Not as dry as a true West Coast example but a huge, flavorful beer...the kind that changed the beer world 30 years ago. Really well brewed. Clean, doughy malts. Steady hop tone throughout. Good stuff.

Sampler at the brewpub. Lighter body than the Kitchen Sink, still with a thin, leggy pale ale head. Smell again is full of piney and fruity hops, more fruit from the hops than from esters, I think. Again, easy drinking. Malt stands up a little more strongly against the hop load, so it is a fuller beer than another hoppy pale ale.
