The incredible Fidens Brewing from New York make their Mash Festival debut this year and we couldn't miss out on the opportunity to brew something together. This is a big DIPA at 9% abv and teeming with a blend of US and NZ hops. Citra, Citra Cryo, Motueka and Rakau are the culprits here and they together they produce a crimenally aromatic and flavourful combo. We get lots of peach ring jellys, ruby grapefruit, lime zest and pine from this.

Can at home, from HOTM online (I think), 16/12/24. Murky orange topped with a lasting white cap. Nose is juicy tropical fruit flesh, pine resin, mango, grass, papaya, grapefruit, hop spice. Taste comprises orange pith, pine needle, grass, light stone fruit whisper, grapefruit, melon, guava. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with punchy juicy come grassy hop bittereness. Solid crushable DIPA.

Can from Art & Craft SW16 at home in London 26/11/2024 Intense juicy fruity action with lots of nectarine, mango and grapefruit, splash of lime, creamy sweet malty backbone, robust hoppy finish. Great stuff.

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lime, peach and mango. Taste is super juicy and tropical, mango, grapefruit, lime, peach, a little booze in the finish. Full bodied. Great DIPA.

Rated at Pien Shop. Sweetish, sweaty hoppy and tropical fruity with some herbal notes, pine, citrus, lime and grapefruit, hints of warming alcohol and ripeish mango notes. A bit unbalanced.

Keg @ Pien Shop, Helsinki. Poured murky orange in color, oxidation looks to it. Unfortunately not in best condition here, oily mouthfeel, buttery like with notes of tropical fruits, chalk. Hides abv.

Can form Tidens Farver @ Home. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light malt, rich fruity hops, tropical fruit, mango, grapes, citrus. Flavor is sweet light bitter, little malt, rich fruity hops, sweet tropical fruit, mango, peach, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish. Easy going. 251124

Can at Garage Universitat. Pours a very hazy yellow, tiny head. Aroma is rather dank, lots of pine, juicy and fruity, herbal hops. Medium to full body. Flavour is malty, rich, and quite sweet. Flavour is juicy and floral, lots of New Zealand hops. Grapefruit and grape, lime, some mango. Lovely. Super drinkable DIPA.
