For this juicy New England style Double IPA we’ve amplified one of our favourite ever combos: Citra and Simcoe. Using a variety of hop products including T90 and cryo pellets as well as Dynaboost and Hyperboost from Yakima Chief, this is a heavy hitter of a beer!

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Murky golden body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach and minerals. Flavour follows the aroma - stone fruit with a mineral bite. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A nicely brewed DIPA.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 30/11/24. Hazed orange topped with a lasting white head. Nose is bitter orange, pine needle, grapefruit, ripe tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises pineapple, light mineral spike, pine nip, grass, mango, papaya, melon, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Tidy DIPA.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crisp snap. Slightly thin pale malts but, certainly sweet enough. The old skool hop duo bring crisp pine and bright citrus, orange, tangerine, mandarin, a little mango underneath. Modern Simcoe brings a bright but ripe pineapple vibe. Finishes light and crisp with a fair old hop spice nip. A light bright and fairly clean dipa, very drinkable. The only thing keeping this brew from the top division is the lack of a wow factor.
