The fourth in our single hop DIPA series.
This beer is absolutely drenched in the freshest '24 Motueka hops we could get our hands on. Boasting a dry hop of over 25g/L ... this thing really hits.

Can ordered from the brewery. A waxy pale gold. Thick foamy white head with healthy lacing. Aroma is soft and fruity with with a bitter edge where vinous sbd resinous mingle. Flavourwise we have a combination of soft fruit and a tart vinous edge. Herbs. Resin in the mix. A touch of booze into the finish. Thick. Oily. Slightly pithy. Soft carbonation with a low key fizz. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Lovely DOPA.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 30/11/24. Murky orange topped with a lasting just off white head. Nose is dank on, green berry skins, gooseberries, pine resin, hop spice, grapefruit. Taste comprises bitter citric shreds, hop spice, dank bite, pine resin, guava, white grape must, stone fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with danko come resinous Moutueka doused hop bitterness. Solid punchy and pissy Kiwi fuelled hop shizzle.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head that doesn't last long. Light palate, very mildly dry, a good fine minerally crisp snap. Light smooth malts, a very nice light creamy sweetness, one of those double IPAs where the malts are just sitting right. Motueka hops, well rather splendid here what ho? An unexpectedly bright and fairly rich tangerine mandarin thing before the very much expected key lime kicks in. Crisp cooling pine and a little hop spice on the light and crisp finish which also delivers mild skunk and a hop spice nip. Enjoying these MakeMake single hop DIPAs a lot, keep em coming boys!

500ml can. Opaque golden, white head. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits, lime, grapefruit. Taste is sweet and tropical, lots of ripe guava, mango, zesty lime, grapefruit, a bit of sweaty dankness, low bitterness. Full bodied, soft, smooth. A beautiful single hop DIPA and tied with Citra as best of the series for me.
