The Closest Thing To Silence is the next in our range of amped up DDH Pales. Motueka and El Dorado work in tandem on this one, the former providing bright lime sherbert and the latter a balance of dank and pine. A hint of Citra Spectrum brings it all together. As with all of our DDH Pales, the creamy body really accentuates the mouthfeel and increases drinkability. A low bitterness Pale Ale with bags of hop impact.

Can at home picked up from 73 Enid. A clouded mid golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is soft fluffy wheat, mango, orange rind, light grass, opal fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, creamy wheat, orange rind, melon, maybe a little age, but it has been in the fridge the whole time. Palate is semi sweet, light creamy, highish carbonation, fluffy. Decent dank hazy pale ale.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy paleish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth sweet pale malts that seems to bring the dryness in this brew. Good cooling pine into thin but bright citrus. Trace of Motueka lime. Light and semi dry finish. A fairly simple IPA but bright and drinkable.

Appearance is murky golden, with a 2-3 finger thick head. Aroma is pineapple, wheaty malt hints, hops, hint of orange and mango. Taste is mango, pineapple, juicy hops, tropical fruit, citrus fruit. Nice and refreshing.

Can at home, either 73ES pick up or HOTM online, 10/08/24. Hazed orange with a lasting white head formed of frothy white bubbles. Nose is mixed tropical fruits, grass, tangerine, papaya, ripe melon. Taste comprises mandarin, grapefruit, pine nip, grass, papaya, citric tinged straw, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly grassy hop bitterness. Tidy enough pale.

On tap at Unit 9. Pours murky milky pale yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma is lime, sherbet, dank notes, pine hop, citrus notes. Taste is lime, sherbet, dank hop, pine hop, citrus on the finish. Decent APA.
