330ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured almost black in colour with a round frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, alcohol, nuts. The flavour is strong sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, oily, chocolate, caramel, nutty, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can from Prost! bottle shop, The Wirral. Black pour with a tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate biscuit, peanut, raisin, caramel, raisin, cocoa. Flavours of the above plus a touch of sweet spice coming coming through in the back end. Rich warming finish.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A decent tan head leaving scattered lacing on the glass, pitch black body. Intens aromas of cocoa and chocolate malts. Blended malt driven taste profile of caramel-chocolate and nuts, rather sweet. Slightly roasted chocolate malty ending. Thick and heavy to drink. Decent sipper on a Saturday afternoon. 330ml can. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, nuts. Taste is very sweet, tons of chocolate, caramel, peanut, roasty bitterness, a little alcohol. Very full, thick body, smooth. Outstanding. Must point out this can was received for free - one of the initial batch that was recalled due to overcarbonation. No problems in this can whatsoever, honestly in awe that such a good stout was recalled!

Can thanks to my bro. It pours motor oily jet black with a quickly dissipating tan head. The aroma is sweet, unctuous, oily, intoxicating, heady notes of caramel, savoury, nutty, peanut butter on burnt toast, roasty malt and chocolate cake. The taste is slick, oily, really rather sweet, intoxicating, toasted brown sugar, caramel, hit fudge sundae, chocolate cake, cake frosting, peanut butter, snickers, mars bar, boozey slaps, warming, chewy, chunky, vanilla and coffee liqueur with a slick, caramel finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Thick heavy sweet dessert stout. Beer for the kids.
