Can from Lupe Pintos. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of earth and fig chutney. Flavour of sweet pear, brambles and bready malt. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is excellent and shows just how good this beer style can be when it’s done well. It’s very good value too.

440ml can. Pours a clear golden copper/amber colour, quite a big off-white head. Aroma is quite fruity, hedgerow berries, herbal/spicy/pine note, caramel. Taste is malty, sweet caramel, hedgerow berries, some citrus, piney/herbal/spice note, crisp bitter finish. Medium bodied. Beautiful Bitter, one of the best I've ever had I think, certainly from a can.
