That full craft beer circle rears its head once again! We’ve done the entire loop several times now – hoppy and hazy > silly fruited sour > aged imperial stout > simple lager and boy do we love settling into something wonderfully unfussy after putting our tastebuds through the gauntlet. A style that is easy enough to do, but notoriously difficult to master, there is absolutely no hiding behind a lager style and Picture This is our latest entry into this naked display of our brewing journey. Light, crisp and bready, with a subtle orange fruitiness from our gentle use of Amarillo in this beer, this is a beer perfect for kicking back and taking in those final throes of the summer sun.

Draught keg at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester city centre. Mid- to dark gold with a small film of white head and a good bit of lacing. Aroma is full of white pepper, metallic notes, hard citrus, grains. Spicy sweet taste, some lime, turning bitter very quickly. Finish is very bitter. Gentle body and carbonation. Overall quite good.
