It is with great excitement that we introduce a whole new style of beer to the Fidens lineup. Essentia, a (Four Point Five Percent) Unfiltered Blonde Ale lightly hopped with Citra, Strata and Luminosa hops. This beer is designed to be approachable, easy drinking, soft and delicate on the palate. The perfect beer to enjoy as warmer weather approaches.

Canned 4/27/26, drunk 7/5/26, from tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
More lager-friendly hops to accommodate the lower abv and not push around the lighter malts. Comes off delicately aromatic with light floral and white grape notes. Peach, honey, cracker...
Similar flavors with a zippy carbonation and an ample, but not burly body that gives good drinkability. I think it's got a ton of flavor and aroma for its size and an appropriate body.

Can (4/27/26) from the brewery. Deeply hazy, light yellow, tons of sparkle, ample head with excellent retention, nice, soapy lacing. Aroma is sweet/tart citrus, grass, earth. Taste is crisp citrusy/fruity hops, bread/buttery cracker. Smooth, frothy texture, thin body, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Everything as advertised--light and approachable but nice, interesting hop contribution.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you Tom! Soft lemon and bread aroma. Flavor has soft yeast, bready malt, and a soft lemon hint. Exceptionally well balanced. Nearly a medium body. Nice malt profile. Crisp texture. This is exceptionally well-made for the style.

Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel bleekgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van citrus en hars. De smaak is fris citrusachtig en hoppig.

Pint can shared at Benny’s place. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a thin frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, malt, mineral, stone fruits, citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Strangest blonde I’ve ever had.

Pours a pale, lightly hazy, lemon yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus, grass, pine. Flavors follow. Mouthfeel is fairly crisp and clean. Nice minerally bitterness in the finish.

Maybe should have called this Sydney Sweeney. Not at all like a blond up front—super creamy. Soft, easy drinking.
