Little cloudy orange beer, big creamy yellow head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: quite a fruity start, tropical fruits, passion fruit, some caramel, sweet impression. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, quite some (peach and pineapple flavoured) yoghurt, very bitter, resinous, fruity touch, little sweet. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, citrus, grapefruit, bit resinous, more tropical fruits, bit sweet in the end.

Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is yeast, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth yeasty, zesty citrus dry spice, wood/resin hop bitter palate and a long lasting light toothpaste bitter finish. Light to moderate bodied with average carbonation.

Cask @ Blue Pig, Manchester. Lighter golden colour with a thin head. Although the grapefruit is evident it is not a citrus based ale so there’s no harsh bitterness and it has a nice smoothness in the palate.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 29/12/12. Lightly hazed mid golden with a thin bubbly white head that retains as a film and at the edge of the glass. Nose is hops, light mango, tropical fruit notes. Taste comprises hops, juicy tropical fruits, mango, touch grapefruit, sugars. Medium bodied with soft carbonation a little bitterness in the finish. Decent.
