Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is yeast, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth yeasty, zesty citrus dry spice, wood/resin hop bitter palate and a long lasting light toothpaste bitter finish. Light to moderate bodied with average carbonation.

Cask @ Blue Pig, Manchester. Lighter golden colour with a thin head. Although the grapefruit is evident it is not a citrus based ale so there’s no harsh bitterness and it has a nice smoothness in the palate.
