The Emelisse Wicked Whisky Iced Tripel BA is characterized by aromas of dried fruit, complemented by a woody hint from the whisky barrels. A full-bodied Eisbock with a predominantly dry taste, in which you mainly will find the characteristics from the used whisky barrels. A wise advice from the brewery: you should take the alcohol percentage in consideration, this rascal with its 16,7% goes down easier than you can keep up.

Fles gekregen van Bart en Hillig, geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een roodbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van en whisky. De smaak is vol, houtig en warm, met tonen van whisky en alcohol.

Dark amber colour, white foam, disappears quickly. Sweet nose of marzipan, raisins, dried fruit, toffee. Warming alcoholic finish. Sweet and sticky.

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Zeeland rating #10. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of whisky, toffee, biscuit, warming alcohol. Fairly sweet with medium bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky, average carbonation. Heavy work.

ABV: 16.7%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, barrel, oaked, woody, dried fruit, sweet yeast - candy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, woody, oak, barrel ,whisky, candy - sweet yeast. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20230114]

Head gone in seconds; clear copper coloured beer. Alcohol, boerejongens , raisins on alcohol, fruitcake with almonds, raisins and preserved cherries. Taste is exactly in the same vein. Liquified X-mas cake. Sharply alcoholic, burning throat sensations. Alcoholheat, thick, full feel despite the alcoholthinning, oily. Not very carbonated. This one, then, is again not half bad!
