Can from Appellation Wines. Pours clear dark brown with a thick tan head. Strong coffee aromas. Taste has some chocolate and dark stone fruit. Coffee dominates though. And lingers.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - dark brown to black. Attractive fluffy, tan head. Nose - creamy dark chocolate but with an immediate hit of coffee too. Taste - coffee, then followed in by creamy chocolate. Brown bread backdrop. Palate - medium bodied at least. Creamy, roasty texture and roasty finish. Overall - nice.

Nearly opaque, reddish-brown beer with a good off-white head. Smell is all coffee. Flavour has a little more to it. Still a load of coffee but there's a little anise, some dark chocolate, a good amount of toasty malt and a touch of caramel as well. But really the coffee is the star of the show in a smooth porter with a good amount of body. Very nice.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Not quite black but getting there, with a frothy-bubbly thick off-white head. Has both a full roasted malt aroma and taste, and is crisp.
