Draught @ Himmeriget, Aaboulevard 27, Copenhagen, Denmark 1960. [ As RAR Pickle The Beast ].Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light heavy hoppy, fruity hops, dried fruit, tropical fruit, warm fruit, peach, alcohol, rich. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, tropical fruit, warm fruit, alcohol, sweet fruit, peach, rich. Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of peaches, citrus fruits, straw, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, citrus fruits, mango, straw, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can thanks to and shared with the Mrs - hazy orange coloured pour with a small white head and thin lacing. Deep sweet juicy fruity with resonating notes of tropical fruit, bold tangerine, mango and grapefruit all in play, some citrus rind, solid sweet malty support, full bodied, piney resinous hoppy bitter into the close. Very nice.

Himmergiet. Can. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and slightly soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, nice light sweetness. Smooth tropical fruits, little orange. Modest orange peel and tangerine peel. Mild resin and spice. Light finish. Mild pine. Good stuff.
