A fun collaboration we did with our pals @humanrobotbeer . Andrew shared his decoction knowledge as we double decocted a base of Premium German Pilsner and Munich malts, hopped it with admirable amounts of Styrian Fox, fermented it cold with our lager yeast, and aged it sideways in the traditional way for many weeks.
We find notes of challah dough, sliced pears, sparkling lemon water, golden honey, fresh crackers, a sassy hop character, and summer grain field.

Pours amber with a thin frothy white head. Aroma of grassy malt. Taste has an explosion of grassy and floral notes. Palate has more grassy; some nice hop bite, some mild resin. Very Good.

Undated, but fresh can drunk 10/11/23. Clear, honey-golden. Giant, off-white head, good retention. Soft mineral, light honey-like malt with lightly fruity, ebullient hops. Fresh herbs and spices. Clean. Soft, malty, with rich, but well-attenuated honey-like notes and beautifully fruity-herbaceous hops. Excellent, but not overdone bitterness and good attenuation combine with crisp yeast for a snappy, refreshing finish with spice and fresh bread lingering.

Side pour at Forest & Main. Grassy noble hops, bready malt. A lot of flavor and depth for the style, World Class lager all the way.
