Grass, pear nose. Clear copper, fine floating sediment, medium head, nice lace. Orange and tea, with tinny dark honey overtones. Medium body, easy carbonation, resinous. A little addictive. I like it more the more I drink.

Poured a hazy orange color with a big very slightly off-white head. Aroma was big bitter resin, juicy. Flavor was hoppy leaf. Big and bright. Some very light creamy notes.

12 ounce can from Total Wine Gainesville, VA, 7/10/22. Hazy amber large off-white head, good retention. Aroma of tangerine, mango, pale malt. Taste is melon, mango, pineapple. Juicy, low bitterness. More like an NEIPA. Decent.

12oz can. Pretty straight up IIPA. Deep malts, reasonable hop tone.NW feel with maybe a hint of juice. Drinkable, but a rather mundane offering.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and straw coloured body with a thinnish, just off-white head that's around two to three centimetres tall. Aroma of grass, flowers, biscuits, yeast and a tiny bit of grapefruit and lemons, but those notes are fairly muted behind some mild alcohol and sugars. Medium-bodied; Strong biscuity and malty notes show at first with a big hit of lemon and grapefruit peel with some mild graininess and floral aspects towards the end. Aftertaste is pretty crisp with a little dose of bitterness from the alpha acids in the hops, but this ends fairly muted with the yeast, bread, grain and mellow citrus the strongest without much of the alcohol cutting through and no real pungency, in a good way. Overall, this beer is pretty nice and about what I expected from the beer, but the complexity is understated, however the alcohol is hidden nicely, which is a good aspect of this. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Washington (West End), D.C. on 24-November-2021 for US$1,92 sampled in my hotel room here in Parsippany, New Jersey on 17-December-2021.

12oz can pours a clear, dark orange with a cap of frothy white head. Nose is fairly mild, some malt and honey comb, herbs, some pine. This is clearly an old school attempt but it lacks some pop. Flavor has malt and honey, some C hops, soap, pine, herbs. A Hop Slam attempt? It's really just mild. Finishes full bodied, you can feel the 8% with some bitterness. 6 4 6 3 11
