Dry-hopped with Centennial during a cold fermentation, this drinkable Cold IPA is crisp and refreshing with all the pine and citrus aromas you’d expect. Cold IPAs are an emerging subset of the IPA Style out of the Pacific Northwest and not to be confused with an India Pale Lager (IPL).

12 oz bottle. Pours yellow with a light haze and a slightly off-white head. Herbal, floral, citrus hop aromas. Flavor has the usual Two Hearted floral and herbal hops, citrus hops with a bit of pine. Just somewhat crisper, with a more lager-like malt profile. Works quite well; I'm actually a bit surprised.

Nice IPA, or IPL, or whatever you want to call it. Very easygoing front, laced with grainy malt sweetness and gentle notes of lemongrass, mandarin, and grapefruit zest. Gets a bit boozy on the back end—7% ABV and lager yeast usually do—with a lingering citrus fade and hints of pine. Good pint.
