Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft OG. Pours clear yellow-gold with a quickly fading, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with simple cereal grain, lager malt character, touch of hay. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Reasonably balanced finish. Tasty enough.

(Keg at Craft Beer Garden 2024 Saturday session) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain, lightly sulphur and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, honey, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, malts and bitterness. The aftertaste was too short. Otherwise a great brew for its style.

Can from The Beer Cave. Clear golden body with a white head that fades. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bread, straw and daisies. Flavour of bready malt and a tight, bitter finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A beautifully balanced lager and a lovely tribute from Newbarns to Uncle Bill who they clearly love.
