Bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a dense, lacing beige head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate, vanilla and coffee obvious. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, quite much chocolate, coffee, vanilla, balanced bitterness and not much Bourbon. Some warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Sweet but balanced, nice one.

(330ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours brownish-black with a tiny dark tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, chocolate, moderate coffee, vanilla, hints of oak and spirits. Flavour is sweet dark malt up front, with caramel, cola, chocolate, earthy coffee, a little vanilla, some oak. Finish is dry, dusty earth, minerals, a little burnt malt, coffee grounds, oak, short finish. Thin watery mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent but a bit weak on the whole, the oak doesn't seem to have improved the base beer and for me it merely reduced richness.

Fat på Brewers Beer Bar, Gbg. Mörkbrun nästan svart med krämbeige krona. Tydlig bourbon i doften. Grundölets stora rostade toner och kaffe märks i basen, nu med pålägg av bourbon och viss fatkaraktär. Något tyngre. Gott!

Definitely prefer this over the non oak aged version. Better mouthfeel and an overall better balanced presentation most likely due to the oak tannins. Very nice mouthfeel. Good coffee character. Prominent caramel.

Solid tasty evening sipper!
Almost black body with a fine beige head. Looks fine. Loads of coffee in the aroma. Full body and a mellow soft carbonation level. Pleasant and easy to drink. Decent sweetness. Espresso, vanilla, roast, oak and bready flavor.
