A clean, straw coloured light drinking bitter. This is a fully flavoured beer with floral aromas and a slightly dry finish. The perfect session beer.

500ml bottle drank at home on 13th Nov 2015. Poured into a UK pint sleeve and taken with a Ham & Salad Roll. Outside it is sunny, windy and cold (8 C). inside it’s warm (18 C) and calm. Clear light copper bodied with a full rocky white topping. Decent hop nose and taste, slightly bitter with a good malt underbelly. Clean feel to the palate and a little over carbonated for me, but I prefer my English Bitters on the ’flat side’ normally. Easy to drink and a no nonsense beer that showcases how traditional Bitter should look and taste like: even if they have used some American hops in the brew kettle!

Gravity cask at the Forest, Dorridge, winter beer festival 2015. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken bubbly white head. The aroma is skunky malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, slightly watery, light resin, light citrus palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
