Cloudy to hazy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and yeasty hints. Flavour came out sweet with roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and yeast. Finished semi dry.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Bangin’! Pours a dark brown with a nice, firm off-white head. Nose is rife with sweet fruit and candies. Flavor is ruch and malty. Some nice, super ripe dark fruit character, along with toffee and caramel. Sweet, in the flavor and again in the finish. If you like the Ommegang Abbey you’ll love this. The GF is just a little lighter, I would say, but the overall impression is quite similar. Excellent.
