Cask the the Lyric. It pours dark ruby-brown with a decent beige head. The nose is bitter-sweet, toffee, toasty brown sugar, dried fruits and cocoa. The taste is bitter, earthy, toast, charred wood, resin, brown bread, light alcohol, caramel sweetness, raisin, varnish, pepper, cocoa and leather with a lingering rather dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Punchy... Perhaps a touch boozy and harsh on the taste though. OK.
