Can - dark brown, nearly black with a moderate bright white lace - I love Sweet Bloom coffee so stinking much there was no way I wasn’t buying this - texture is super creamy, soft carbonation - flavor is medium dry, with a gentle mineral bite - coffee character is quite present, but not abrasive or overly acidic, as coffee can easily be if not done properly in a beer - some bright fruitiness comes through near the finish, rising above the coffee and chocolatey roasted malt flavors - it’s dang good.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark brown with a huge foamy beige head. Aroma of very nice coffee. Med plus body. Nice foamy carbonation. Flavor is bitter coffee and burnt malt. Chocolate notes. Astringent. Dry. Really good flavor.

Can pour. Appearance is lightly hazy, very dark brown (mahogany with light source directly behind), trace sparkle, finger-width beige foamy head with decent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is mildly bitter rich roasted malts and coffee offset by milder sweet chocolate. Taste is moderately bitter roasted coffee and earthy malts, milder baker's chocolate and nuts. Maybe a brief initial burst of blackberry/dark fruit is there but it seems mostly due to the power of suggestion and me having to search for it. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with velvety smooth texture (as described), soft carbonation and more roasted earthy malt than coffee finish. Overall, strong across the board.

16 oz. can. Aroma shows slight raisin, mild chocolate, with a hint of earthy grain. Coffee is here in a different way. I can tell that they didn’t just throw in some cold brew as an afterthought. The bean was integrated into the boil kettle. Coffee is here in very soft, thoughtful manner. Mild fruit and nut character. Soft roast. Really solid.
