Bottle to tulip. Aroma of chocolate and sweet vanilla. Moderate spice. Deep brown with light brown highlights. Brown head. Flavor leans into the spice more. Rich with a bit of bitterness at the end.

Waxed bomber from Best Damn Beer Shop. Pours dark brn/blk with a creamy tan head. Aromas of chocolate and cinnamon. Full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, cinnamon, pecans, heat and burnt malt. Not dry; not sticky sweet - but some brown sugar is here. Bitterness from burnt malt and perhaps heat. Tasty ale.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Aroma is fairly well balanced with medium light cinnamon and nut notes. Moderate chocolate with lighter caramel, toffee and honey and even lighter roast. Light oak and bourbon with a bit of alcohol spice. Pours black with a medium large, thick, creamy, mocha head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in the center and on the edges. Light lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with moderately strong chocolate notes. Quite a bit of caramel as well with lighter toffee, honey and roast. Moderate bitterness and light oak and bourbon notes. Light alcohol spice. Medium light nutty notes and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is full bodied and a bit sticky with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, this may be my favorite adjunct Eclipse ever. I normally find the cinnamon to be too strong in beers, but this is balanced nicely. This is definitely the most dessert like eclipse I have tried.
