What’s going on in the world of Oz? Their flagship \"hop bomb\" no longer has any hops, and their American Brown Ale pops with citrus and pine bitterness. This guy has an extremely dark brown body topped by an appealing, dense, soft tan head. The nose leads with juicy citrus hops, grassiness, some roasted malt and pine resin. That big IPA combo continues through to the taste profile along with touches of nuttiness, chocolate, and rye spice. And that bitterness sustains well.

Growler from the lcbo. Deep brown pour, while a light reddish hue that comes through. Aroma is incredibly earthy, and grassy. Light nuttiness, light pine, brown sugar, dark caramel cereals. The finish is totally different. It finishes medium to high on the bitterness with a strong lemon zest kick and some resinous pine.
