Bottle from Nisa Local, Upper Beeding. Aroma is boof - dark fruits and a vinous streak with booze. Dark opaque chestnut. Translucent beige head soon scarpers. Tangy sour berries with a hint of booze. Zippy. Underlying sweet dark fruits, berries. Molasses and malts. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long pretty astringent finish. Big boozy fun. Yum.

Opaque black beer, ghostly tan head. Smooth palate with a light crisp carbonation. Dark malt, not too dry or roasty but fairly rich. Coffee and chocolate in the undertone. Balancing out the dark flavours is some woody sweetness and a trace of bubblegum. Some lactose creaminess coming to the fore before a very dry minerally finish.
