Cask at PoW Farnborough Beer Fest lunchtime drive-by. Aroma is light and malty - some sugary sweetness, some boiled veg. Clear light chestnut. Thick frothy off-white head. Initially quite sour - berries. Followed by sugar water sweetness. Underlying malts. Sourness lasts throughout. Light-medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. More character than I was expecting. Not bad.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Chestnut colour with thick lasting beige head. Roasted malts and good autumn fruitiness, some red fruits and juicy fruit in mouth. Hops are ther to balance on this good dark bitter with lots of malt/fruit flavour
