Reminds me of carribean malt bombs but a bit more palatable, just a bit though. Maybe... Maybe not. Damn malty, no nose.

On tap at Icebergs. Pours a hazy yellow with a slight gold hue and a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has grains and grass with a bit of straw underlying. Flavor has light fruits and grass with a hay and straw backbone.

I had a few bottles of this on Saturday 1st Dec 2018 while at an RAF reunion in Walkabout, Lincoln. Each time being poured into a vase shaped Budweiser glass. The sediment didn't cloud every bottle, so I got either a slightly hazy golden body or a semi-bright offering depending if the sediment had stuck to the base of the bottle. The head soon departed no matter what pour I did. Crisp and refreshing and pretty lively, decent hop content and all round a pleasant beer.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een standaard moutige geur en smaak. Pilsachtig met wat hop in de afdronk.

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour. Large fluffy head. Metallic aroma with additional fruity notes and subtle malts. Light body. Taste: sweetish - malty, sourish - lightly fruity. Light bitterness do not really fit the rest of the composition. Nothing spectacular going on here.

6 3 6 3 12 Bottle shared at THT March ‘18 (The Elephant Seal Edition). Hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, damp, herbs and malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter.
