Keg at Craft Theory 2022. Boozy Irish Creme, peat whisky and espresso aroma. Dark and glossy brown. Creamy tan head. Flava is ultimately sweet... what was this aged in? Underlying light bitter. And booze. Creamy medium bodied. Long finish. Big pud.

Can split at the first Canary Wharf / Westferry Circus tasting in 2.25 years ... who knew back then ... thanks to Danny, 09/06/22. Black with a moderate tan cap that veers to a swirl. Nose is ripe dark fruits, figgy jam, dark chocolate, spice, hint of coffee. Taste comprises bitter sweet fruits, less barrel than the nose suggested, chocolate, molasses, spice, coffee, toffee fudge, dark fruit rinds. Full bodied, viscous oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf / cheers to Dan. Pours deep black-brown with a bubbly, brown head. Very sweet, rich dark malts, gooey chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, figs, booze, earth. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sticky dark malts, cocoa, bourbon, ash, earth. Really good stuff.
