Collaboration with Little Monster Brewing. When brewing with these guys it’s like brewing with a brother. BRU is an affectionate term for Brother in Afrikaans which highlights both sides South African heritage. This is first of two 'BRU' release this one with simcoe cryo hops

Softer and juicier than a peach on a pillow this New England IPA as they say in SA is ‘lekker!’.

27/7/2022. Can shared by SHIG, cheers. Pours cloudy pale orange brown with a small frothy white head. Aroma is a super tropical medley, melon, mango, pineapple, citrus, husky piney notes. Medium sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily, quite fizzy. Nice bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A milky golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is pithy citrus, waxy, papaya, orange rind, grass. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation, sticky. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, juicy fruit, mango, papaya, juicy. Nice one.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 25/06/22. Murky greyed out orange with a good sized off white cap ... just doesn't look overly appealing. Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, melon, lychee, grass, light hop spice, pine nip, raw pineapple. Taste comprises grapefruit, pine needle, grass, ripe melon, lychee, mixed tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA.

Can: Poured a hazy bright yellow with a white creamy head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrus, melon, pineapple. Taste is juicy bitter hops, leaves way to pineapple acidic, citrus, more of the melon, very lively and juicy throughout.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma has floral notes, citrus, a woody streak and a hint of onions. Hazy pale yellow. Foamy translucent white head. Initial bitterness. A juicy citrus and pineapple streak with some sweetness then comes through. Spice. But that dry bitterness is there for the duration. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Juicy dry hopped stuff. No complaints.
