Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear, pale amber. Ring and a few bubbles of white. Nose has rhubarb and custard sweets. Vanilla yoghurt. Some fairly bright, fruity hop. Some wheaty grain. Taste is sweet, with a decent tang of rhubarb like tartness. Light to medium body. Fine brisk carbonation. Short, tart finish. Enjoyed this. Not sure why they’re calling it a wheat beer, though. I mean it’s got wheat in it but...

ABV: 4.8%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, custard and rhubarb. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, custard, vanilla, light rhubarb. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181020]

Cask @ Wellington, Birmingham. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, rhubarb and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 250717

Cask @ Wellington, Bormingham. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rhubarb, fruits, flowers, berries, malt and hops.

Keg at the Blue Monkey Loughborough. Golden, slightly cloudy. Little bit of white head and a lot of lacing. Light aroma, some vanilla and orange peel. Sharp fruity hops add to the sweet creaminess in the taste to give a complex taste. Bittersweet finish with rhubarb and custard sweets (ah, there it is) showing up in the finish. Wasn’t sure at first, but I like the more with each sip.
