Mirage City is hopped like an IPA but has the backbone of a multigrain farmhouse ale. Using a technique called hop-dipping, we can build in bold hop notes while bitterness is kept to a minimum. We take a portion of the wort, hop it at a lower temperature, releasing more hop notes while preventing the off-flavours and bitterness that can arise form hopping at higher temps.
The result balances tart, herbal, and funky notes with a dry finish. Unlike your eyes, your tongue will never deceive you; this beer is deliciously drinkable.

355ml can. Pours a hazy blonde with a large, frothy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of pale malt, orange, Belgian yeast and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of pale malt, lemon, lime, Belgian yeast and floral hops in a crisp, dry, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and crushable.

Hazy and pale. Thick head. Fruity, light brett, salmonberry and pear, good pale malt base. Drinks easy, refreshing, leafy hop. Modest bitterness, more farmhouse than IPA.

5oz pour at The Magnet. Pours murky yellow with a white head. Aroma has tropical fruit and stems. Flavour has moldy orange peel and straw; light and tart. The long, bitter finish really throws it off for me. As it warms up there's definitely some burnt rubber.

Draught at the brewery
Pale blond colour. Mild buggy aroma, light plastic (phenols). Dry mouthfeel, mild acidity, strong Brett, producing bitter compounds, a bit earthy, orange peel. Good.

355 ml can. Pours a hay color. Aromas of orange juice, citrusy farmhouse (polite for horse piss), and soap. Flavors of lemon, lime, grass and sharp toasted malts. Nose is bad. Taste is OK.

Poured from 355mL can. Clear-ish blonde gold with small white head. Hay and feint grass hops with a funky tartness. Above average.

100ml. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: some herbs, wild notes, some kinda grassy tartness. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: far from the Dageraad wild yeasts stuff. Just an ok one.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Nose is buggy and earthy, with light phenols, farmhouse notes, hay, and subdued earthy hops. Flavour is muddled, with low-level phenols, earthy hops, and some hay. Poorly calibrated and somewhat off. Not good.
