355 ml can. Pours brown with moderate fizzy head that settles quickly. Aromas of soapy coffee and toasted malts. Flavors follow same. Dirty soapy coffee. Meh.

Sample.
Aroma: quite nice coffee, caramel malt, a bit of sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines with subtle American oak in the finish.
Overall: pretty pleasant, nice coffee here.

Hazy pale brown. Thin head. Smells like it’s going to be sourish, and a hint of coffee. Yeah this is tart, coffee, a hit of alcohol, kind of messy. It’s not bad but I don’t think it was intended to be sour and it’s not coming together all that well. A salvage job of a beer.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours somewhat clear brown with white head. Aroma has bourbon barrels, coffee, and malts. Flavour has tons of bourbon barrels and coffee beans, solid malty base. Not particularly sweet, just a good combination of bourbon, coffee, and malts. Fantastic.

473mL can, pours a clear deep dark brown with a red tinge and a tiny head. Aroma is dominated by the coffee upfront, with a touch of the oak coming out, and a lightly sweet caramel malt base. Flavour has a big bourbon barrel character upfront that combines well with the coffee. Not too sweet or boozy; the coffee and bourbon are integrated real well. Complex and warming. Excellent.
