330mL bottle. Pours very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma has a ton of amburana and coffee. Flavour has great woody amburana character, coffee. I almost forgot that bourbon was involved; still there, but the amburana is really driving the beer. Mouthfeel is fairly thick. The amburana really works well, this is great.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is complex, bringing a nice mix of amburana, coconut, bourbon, and a touch of rum. Flavour has a real nice mix of the amburana and coconut, followed by medium roast coffee, and a touch of bourbon. Real nice use of the amburana and coconut -- I almost forget there's rum and certainly bourbon in here. Excellent.

Dark brown. Thin head. Aroma is amburana, vanilla and some chocolate, the Blantons showing through a bit as well. The coffee on the nose is not actually appetizing…a good roaster alone is not enough….what makes a great espresso might not be great in a beer. On the palate it’s coming across rich, if sugary, not stouty, even with the added coffee. The amburana is more mellow on the palate, the vanilla a notch brighter. Finishes with a blast of wood and alcohol, then some nice sugars and of course amburana. Actually funny how much amburana dominates, even the Blantons take a distant back seat on this.

330 ml bottle.Pours a very dark brown with short fizzy tan head. Aromas of amburana barrel, vanilla, oaky bourbon, chocolate nougat, graham crackers and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same but with additional rich coffee. A really nice balance between the barrels. Excellent.
