Dull, murky. Thin head. This looks like a beer that nobody took seriously. Aroma has that sharp nail polish remover thing from failed kettle sours, combined with an underwhelming hop character that fails to match the level of 1982 SNPA, despite all the knowledge that the brewing world has gained since that time. On the palate it's a mess of rockets, brett c, fucked up phenols, and a bitter that would be okay if the sour part of the ferm was even in the ballpark of clean. This was fucking awful. I had a can, so maybe the packaging? But still, it wasn't free.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 15 Oct 2024). Clear gold with small white head. Minerally, lacto, light metallic quality, tartness. Average.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Nose is yogurty, with lots of lacto, some bugs, and some earthiness. Flavour is yogurty, with tons of lacto and some floral dry hopping. Yogurty and floral. Despite apparently being a mixed ferm sour, this comes across like a standard kettle sour.

5oz pour at The Magner. Pours cleae gold with white head. Aroma has wild yeast and funk. Flavour is nice and tart, lots of wild yeast, some tropical fruit, a bit of onion. Dominated by the yeast with some complementary notes from the hops. Really nice.
