From tap at Little Delirium, Amsterdam. Aroma is lots of wood with plenty of whiskey, soft peat, chocolate, notes of dried fruits, marzipan, liquor, more whiskey. Heavy on the whiskey with light booze. Flavour is fairly bitter and mild sweet. Body is above medium. Relatively modest in flavour and body, pronounced whiskey, enjoyable.

Bottle. Almost black. Dominant whisky and a hint of peat in the aroma and flavor. Malty, fairly dry. Apple syrup. Licorice. Peat in the finish. Has thinned. Still a nice beer, in spite of the dominant whisky.

Bottle @ home shared by Inoven. Opaque black color, average sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is malts and quite some peat. Taste malts, lightly peaty and a bit sweet and bitter at the same time. Hmm definitely barrel aging in there but I don't really like it.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen en Benzai. Zwart bier met beige schuim. Aroma is fruitig, koffie achtig en toch zoet. Smaak van koffie en karamel. Smaak ebt snel weg.

Fles gedeeld door Inoven, geprobeerd met Benzai. Het is een zwart bruin bier met weinig schuim. De geur is whiskyachtig. De smaak is gebrand, eiken en whisky. Erg lekker.

7 3 8 3 16 Bottle at Murphy’s Law. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of oak barrel, whiskey, chocolate, coffee, overripe dark fruit notes and raisins. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with alcoholic alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik. Dark color, short lacing. Aroma of tar, slight iodine and bandaid, dark fruit and roast. Roasty bitterness, dark fruit and raisiny sweetness from the port, and iodine and bandaid from the whiskey. Questionable balance. Kompaan has never fulfilled its propecy, and I seriously doubt they ever will.

Bottle shared at/from Maakun. Black with tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, very fruity, peated whisky, marzipan coated rye bread with boiled cherries, some alcohol and glue. Quite sweet and bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation.
