Our take on a classic Mexican Amber Lager with a twist. We've brewed it using special German malts like Vienna, CaraRed, and Carafa Special 3, and we hopped it up exclusively with Tettnanger. Rich caramel and biscuit tastes, with hints of floral goodness like pine and a dash of black pepper spice.

4oz pour at brewery [as Spanish Amber Pilsner]. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma has sweet malts. Flavour has caramel malts with some bitterness from the hops. Not super exciting.

473 ml can. Pours a bright mahogany color with light head. Aromas of caramel and doughy malts. Flavors of same with additional arrowroot biscuits and a bit of copper. More like red ale…

On tap at Astilleros, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a touch of sweeter berry. Flavour is dry, with bready malt and a hint of toffee. Not exactly on-point, but nothing wrong. Boring stuff.
