ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, a few tan bubbles never form a head. Smooth and viscous, decent fine carbonation for the style. Super rich dark chocolate malts, some ice cream van chocolate syrup. Vanilla lightens and produces modest mild chocolate around the mid. The cinnamon is mercifully light. A backdrop of nuts, always there, never dominant. Fairly light and semi dry finish. Good stuff.

Roast, caramel. Pours black with mocha head and lacing. Finishes quite bitter, with a little tang. Bourbon, cinnamon and hazelnut are dialed back, relatively speaking for Cycle. I don't mind this variant. Tap at Snally.

On tap at Cycle, pours black with almost no head. Nose exudes huge amounts of toasted hazelnuts upfront, accentuated by rich bourbon barrel presence, and only a tiny hint of the cinnamon. Flavour is incredible rich, with big toasted hazelnuts, light cinnamon, dark dried fruits, and wrapped in rich bourbon. Decadent and powerful, but every ring is cohesive and wonderfully refined. Lovely.
