Clean, amber colour with a warm beige head, average stay and lots of foamy-soapy lacing streaks. Big malty aromas with a blend of caramel, and spicy one - almost like rye, all mixed with some grassy hops. A wet mouthfeel with some decent dryness in the finish. The caramel malts really show in the taste, with less hoppiness to help out. Thankfully, the drying end is nice here and a tad wood comes out. A decent California Common that packs a malty, caramel punch.

An amber ale with a thin creamy lacing off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, light cereal, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light cereal, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
