Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A black beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of dry moderate roasted dark malt, some liquorice and chocolate. Taste of mild sweet caramelish malt, Chocolate, vanilla, some liquorice.

Borefts 2018. Day 1. Sampled draft. Thank you for sharing! Very dark brown to black, tanned head. Nose is mocha chocolate, caramel, low roast but mainly very sweet, sugary & cake. Taste is basic chocolate, mocha, caramel, sweet candy, mocha, powdery chocolate, instant chocolate milk. Not fully thick body, bit powdery chocolate but overall very nice sweet stout.

Clear deep brown beer, big creamy beige head, little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: dried fruits, very malty, caramel, grains, hay. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, malty, some dried fruits, soft roast, chocolate notes. Aftertaste: little bitter, malty, grains, hay.

Very thick, smells a bit coffee-like. Tastes fairly sweet, malty, subtle coffeeness, dark chocolate. Great mouthfeel, muddy thick. Very well made, good stuff. No silly busyiness, just a great, regular stout.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, tobacco. Taste is chocolate, a touch umami, motor oil, tobacco. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Quite good!

Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza 2018, The Printworks, Surrey Quays. Ruby red pour, no head. Nose of blackcurrant jam and black cherries. Flavours of morello cherries, splash of liquorice. Very tasty.
