A dark reddish brown ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light chocolate and light vanilla notes. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light cereals, treacle, light nutty notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Freshly canned 946ml in front of me at the brewery. Clean, brown colour with amber highlights, a frothy light-beige head, decent retention and big fluffy lacing. Darker cereal malt aromas with woody notes, some caramel and lots of hops cutting the sweetness. The grassy hoppiness continues into the taste, creating a fair dry finish. Not as sweet as the nose, as the darker cereal base stays low in here. A nice, hoppier Brown Ale.
