A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. Black topped with a tan cap.
Nose is earthy roast, charr, dark malts, cocoa powder.
Taste comprises bitter roast, molasses, umami, charr, spice, toffee.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a lick of booze.
Okay old skool impy if somewhat lacking depth of flavour for the double digit ABV.
