A deep dark stout with a thin creamy brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, loads of raspberry, light alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, raspberries, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. Bottle at l'autre oeil.

375mL bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma has dark chocolate, raspberry, red wine, musty wood. Flavour is dominated by the raspberry and red wine; leather and dark fruit pits. Very enjoyable.

375mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is complex and integrated—more like a dark funky sour—with tons of raspberries, lots of red wine barrels, oak, some bugs, and a touch of bugs. Flavour is more like a dark buggy sour, with lots of red wine barrels, lots of tannins, oak, tart raspberries, medium roast, and wood. Very vinous, buggy, oaky, and lightly fruity. I don't usually like fruited stouts, but this drinks more like a complex fruited, wine, dark sour. Excellent.
