Cask at Pigs Ear 2018 - London. Day 1. Pours clear yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. Dry and pithy, some biscuits, lemon peel, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Dry finish, soft grass, more lemon peel, straw. Solid.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly white head. Light dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy pale malts. Touch of sulphorous skunk. Mild floral bitterness. Little citrus. Dry and bitterish finish. Passable.

ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, fruity, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181018]
