Shared can at Mandag i Annen; Cardinal. ABV is 8%. Matured in bourbon barrels of American oak, and Cabernet barrels of French oak. Brown colour, small off-white head. The aroma and flavour have of course notes of cocoa and chocolate, but it is well balanced, not overdone. Distinct notes of bourbon whiskey, oak and vanilla, but also notes of red wine. Decent hops. Harmonious and sophisticated.

A red copper brown ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with dark fruits, vanilla, bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of whiskey barrel notes, woody notes, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at brewery.
