Jet black, medium brown head. Aroma is chocolate cake, soy, cocoa powder, earthy, vanilla laced bourbon barrel.. The aroma is intoxicating. Mouth feel is oily, and full, with a creamy carb. Medium to high bitterness, creamy bourbon vanilla, cocoa goodness. Reminds me of the old school American impys I used to trade for. Outstanding.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing dark brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, caramel, vanilla, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, coffee, alcohol warmth, light bourbon barrel, pleasant and rich. On tap at Festibiere de Gatineau 2023.

Poured from the tap. Black with small tan head. Nice bourbon forward notes without being overpowering, very gentle roast malt underlies, medium body. Although I would like a touch more body, it’s quite balanced.
