Poured from 750mL bottle @ Pit Caribou Montreal. Hazy yellow with small white head. Herbaceous beetroot, mild pear, slight sourness. Comes together nicely. Understated. Similarly unique like the Rouge Basilic so can imagine some not enjoying it as much. Decent.

(750ml bottle @ Restaurant Maison Black Whale par Nath & Co., Percé, QC, Sep 8/23) Clear medium pinkish-gold pour with a huge white head and spotty lace. Wasn't 100% my best sensorily at this point so my notes are limited, but it was a nice funky/lactic cider with a pear-type florality, a bit earthy but the beets were not really noticeable, a little grounding from the beer component, dry and a bit tart all the way through the finish. Light to medium body, very fine moderate carb. Very fun stuff from what I could tell, wish I had been in a better shape to enjoy it more thoroughly.

A hazed murky amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity mix of ground cherry, light lactic notes, light herbal hops, very nice. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light lemony and apple jam, light acidity, very nice. Bottle at mondiale 2023.
