Nococo is our Nocturne coco Imperial porter without the coconut. This version was aged one year in oak barrels having previously contained American rye whisky. Simple as that.

Notert en hyggelig søndag formiddag på Vaaland Bryghus: brunsvart med fint skum som varer lenge. Nydelig aroma og smak med mørke malter, nybrent kvalitetskaffe, mørke dessertchokolader, eik/vanlije og naturligvis et delikat streif av amerikansk rye whiskey. Mye sjokolade og velkalibrert bitterhet i avslutningen. 0,473 boks delt broderlig med bryggmesterne.

A deep dark brown porter with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, rye whisky barrel, light Brett, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light whiskey barrel, light woody notes, alcohol warmth, light vanilla, very nice. On tap at brewery.
