A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

Spilt a bit from the can at opening. Dark brown colour with not much highlights, a bubbly mocha-coloured head, average retention and a dirty film coating on the glass. Nice coffee and chocolate nose at first pour, but after breathing, these do calm down, and the base of roasted malt appears. I even get hints of banana, so wheat in here? This continues in the taste with the chocolate, fudge richness, but some tarty-coffee bitterness does cut the sweetness, and the hops creates a decent dryness in the end. Not bad, starts off real nice, but seems like the good stuff just disappear rather quickly, and vanilla is hard to sense.
