Undated can drunk 8/30/26.
Lots of yeast ester and sweaty, rich dry hop mixing with mild tropical fruit and big citrus. A touch of twangy-ish pineapple, initially, but I'm betting that will burn off quickly. And it does, leaving a bit more acidic citrus and a bit of pine/spruce in its wake. This is very well-done on the Galaxy front; no huge acidity, chalky/earthy dryness or dominating spruce/resin. No alcohol or flaw noted, and well-balanced by rich, honey-like malt.
Bit lighter body than expected, especially for its size. That's the first thing I notice. Galaxy being the second; very dry, though not overly bitter or astringent. But sort of dull and a bit earthy/chalky, nonetheless. Body somewhat improves, as it warms/breathes, unsurprisingly, but the Galaxy takes further hold, as well and continues to add uninteresting, rather dull/bitter/chalky character. Sad that this hop is such a shell of its former self.

Pours a hazy, peach-orange, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, with some alcohol- or hop-burn. Flavors follow. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness through the finish.

16oz can from Brujos. Hazy yellow pour, big white head settles to a silky, creamy cap. Light citrusy aroma, fruity, with some grapefruit zest at the very back. Zesty citrus peel really picks up in the taste, sharp, stinging, astringent. Flavors of grapefruit. Really creamy body

Opaque yellow to orange with a creamy white head. Intense juicy fruity with punchy mango and tangerine, papaya, passion fruit, some prickly hop spice and citrus rind, dense sweet creamy malty mouthfeel and body, balanced bitter hoppy finish. Top drawer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Loneliness (2024) on 26 Mar 2025 at 12:24 - Score: 8.
