Cask at Reading BF. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Very bitter from the off. Fruity, then sweeter caramel comes through. Grew on me but not enough.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty, ash, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20181017]

Tried at the Nottingham beer festival 2018. Deep amber colour with a off white head. Rich malty and fruity aroma and taste. Medium body.

17/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fruit and hops. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Deep amber brown colour with reddish tinge, tan foam head leaving lacing and malty aroma. Taste is sweetish, malty, toffee, fruity, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK
